I’m relaunching one of my favorite blog categories, Design Destinations! These posts will combine my love for travel with my love of design. When traveling, I prefer to stay at a boutique hotel because I find that generally they have amazing design. My main reason for traveling is for inspiration. I love returning from a trip and feeling energized, refreshed and endlessly inspired for my design projects.
The first hotel I will be highlighting is the Casa Cook in Rhodes. This hotel has been on my bucket list for a while and it is completely spot on with my design style. Casa Cook is a bohemian lifestyle hotel by Thomas Cook. Thomas plans to create, “a new breed of hotels, inspired by the spirit of our times. Each with a distinct personality: no one-size-fits-all architecture or repetitive interiors. Always individual, always laid-back. Created for trend-conscious travelers”.
Some of the amazing adventures you can have here include sailing the Aegean with a local crew, hiking, nature walks and yoga classes. This is definitely a must visit!
